Welcome to the new Digital 411!

6/2/2014 8:00:00 PM
As you can see, there is a whole new look to this website. The purpose is to give the medical staff at Virtua, as well as their office staff, a single place to go in order to get information about any of the computer systems at Virtua.

Here are some highlights of the new Digital 411. There are 4 basic sections -- Education Links, Featured Items, Frequently Asked Questions and System/Technical Information. There is also a section called Additional Resources which includes Archives, IS Alerts, and info about the Virtua Health Information Exchange. The Archives section features physician emails, portal messages, and bulletins.

Since you are reading this, you have already discovered one of the "Featured Items". Periodically, Dr. James Gamble and Dr. Adam Glasofer will post information here of general interest to the medical staff concerning the information systems at Virtua, or other items related to the field of medical informatics.

The section "Video Quick Tips and Education" will allow you to view brief video tutorials on the use of various Virtua information system software programs. "System Information" is a resource for technical information regarding Virtua's information systems.

Some of the information present in the new Digital 411 is specific to the Virtua medical staff, and therefore will only be accessible by entering your Virtua network ID and password. Other information is available to the general public. If the information requires a login, there will be a padlock icon (Lock) next to it.

We at IS hope that this website serves as a valuable resource for you. Our hope is that it will be your first choice for any questions regarding any of the computer systems at Virtua. Please don't hesitate to give us feedback or ask questions or provide suggestions to improve this site. Also, feel free to report any problems you may be having with any of our systems via the "Report a Problem" link.
