Soarian Provider Documentation is coming!

5/7/2015 2:48:11 PM
As most of you know, Virtua will be introducing Soarian Provider Documentation (PDoc) starting at the beginning of June. At that time, all charting of progress and procedure notes will be performed in Soarian PDoc, and all H&Ps and consults will need to be dictated. This will be a significant change for the health system in that all progress and procedure notes will now be located in the patient’s electronic Soarian chart, and no longer on the paper chart. Of note, PDoc will not be used for Well Baby Nursery or NICU. For a list of documents that will remain on paper, please consult the corresponding document which can be accessed via the Video Quick Tips and Education section under the Soarian Provider Documentation tab.

IS resources, including physician and nurse superusers, will be on site and available for support during daytime hours for the 2 weeks following each hospital go live. The system wide go live schedule is as follows:

Memorial - 6/2/15
Voorhees - 6/16/15
Marlton - 7/7/15

Web-based training videos are also available in the Video Quick Tips and Education section under the Soarian Provider Documentation tab. Some are required, others optional. It is important that you review these ahead of go-live. We also encourage users to practice using PDoc in the Soarian Train site, which can be accessed via the Vine.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to make this transition easier. Thanks for your time, and for being so invested in this project.
