If a patient has had a recent elevated temperature (> 100.4 in the past two days) or elevated White Blood Count (> 11.0 in the past day), when a discharge order is placed, an alert will show in the unsigned order:



Another alert will occur if a patient has Ischemic Stroke entered as a problem and is on a statin. An alert will occur that recommends ordering an LDL level:



If a patient has a problem ‘Myocardial Infarction’, an alert will occur during Discharge Med Rec if aspirin or statin was not prescribed:



If aspirin or statin is not to be prescribed, a reason will be required.

A Pediatric patient with a problem ‘Asthma’ will trigger an alert to provide the patient’s caregiver with a management plan:
